Description/Blazon
A Silver color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall blazoned as follows: Argent (Silver Gray), in base a dragon head couped Teal within a Torii Gules; a chief nebuly Azure. Attached below a Black scroll inscribed "BELONG TO THE WARRIOR" in Silver.

Symbolism
The dragon symbolizes fierce defense and protection. The Torii represents the gateway approach to honor and freedom. The dragon within the Torii denotes the unit's combat support, its assets (engineer, military police, military intelligence and signal) and solid determination to support the gateway to freedom from all enemies, foreign and domestic. The blue chief nebuly refers to the Third Brigade's affiliation with their parent division, 101st Airborne Division.
